Fees and Insurance

Session Fees

Counselling fees vary depending on the counsellor's credentials and experience. Generally, our counsellors charge between $120-$150 per 50-minute session.

Some counsellors offer sliding scale options based on financial need. Please discuss fee arrangements directly with your counsellor.

Payment can be made by cash, check, e-transfer, or credit card at the time of service.

Insurance Coverage

Many extended health benefit plans cover counselling services provided by Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC), Registered Social Workers (RSW), Registered Psychologists (RPsych), and other registered mental health professionals.

We recommend checking with your insurance provider about your specific coverage, including:

  • Which types of mental health professionals are covered
  • How many sessions are covered annually
  • Whether you need a physician's referral
  • Whether there is a deductible or co-payment

Your counsellor will provide receipts for insurance reimbursement.
